Product Introduction
Magnesium fluorosilicate is a white, rhombohedral or needle-like crystalline solid. It is odorless, with a relative density of 1.788. It is not readily deliquescent but may effloresce and lose its crystalline form. When heated above 80°C, it decomposes upon dehydration, releasing silicon tetrafluoride gas. It is highly soluble in water, soluble in dilute acids, sparingly soluble in hydrofluoric acid, and insoluble in alcohols. Its aqueous solution is acidic, and it reacts with alkalis to form the corresponding fluoride and silicon dioxide.
It is used as a concrete strengthener, concrete retarder, rubber latex coagulant, preservative, and mothproofing agent for textiles.
Applications:
1.Construction Hardener:
Applied on concrete surfaces to harden, improve wear resistance, and prevent dusting.
2.Industrial Preservative:
Used for wood preservation and disinfecting equipment in the brewing industry.
3.Ceramic Flux:
Reduces the melting temperature of ceramic glazes.
4.Textile & Agriculture:
Employed as a mothproofing agent for fabrics and as an agricultural insecticide.

Storage Conditions
Store in a sealed container in a well-ventilated, dry indoor area away from direct sunlight. Transport and store at temperatures between 5°C and 35°C.
Avoid prolonged exposure to air during storage.
