Product Introduction
Sodium silicate, commonly known as water glass, is a chemical raw material with a wide range of applications.
Sodium silicate is highly soluble in water and is typically available in three forms: blocks, powder, and liquid. Liquid sodium silicate is a colorless,
pale yellow, or greenish-gray transparent viscous liquid.
Sodium silicate solutions are alkaline and possess stable binding properties, high-temperature resistance, and film-forming capabilities. They also exhibit excellent chemical stability in terms of acid and heat resistance. By adjusting the ratio of silica to sodium oxide,
the product's dissolution rate and bonding strength can be modified to meet diverse industrial application requirements. As a result, it is widely used in
various fields such as construction, daily chemicals, and foundry.
Compared to lithium silicate and potassium silicate, water glass places greater emphasis on cost-effectiveness and versatility.

Technical Specifications

Applications:
This product is suitable for mixing with cement slurry for grouting. With a grouting machine, the two solutions are rapidly injected into the water outlet, where they set within 10 seconds to quickly seal the outlet and stabilize the terrain. It is used in projects with complex terrain and high groundwater levels, such as subways, tunnels, artificial islands, and underwater construction.
With a heat resistance of up to 800°C and strong adhesive properties, this product can be used as a binder for refractory materials such as fire doors, refractory bricks, and fire-resistant coatings, making it an excellent natural fire-retardant liquid material.
This product is suitable for use as a washing aid in the detergent industry, a dyeing and printing aid in the textile industry, a binder in the paper industry, and a raw material in chemical manufacturing.
Other application areas: mineral flotation, ceramics, casting, concrete curing agents, concrete reinforcing agents, and the adhesive industry.
